DIRECTIONS FROM THE A12
From A12 Junction 29
Take A1232 (Ipswich Road) south towards Colchester Town.
In half a mile go STRAIGHT at traffic lights.
In quarter mile turn LEFT at roundabout onto ST JOHNS ROAD.
In 1 mile turn LEFT at mini roundabout onto A137.
In a mile and a half Colchester Bowling Club on right opposite Ardleigh Sailing Club.
From A12 Ipswich via Wick Lane (narrow road)
About 2 miles before the A1232 (after Shell filling station on left) take the slip road (not signposted).
At T junction turn RIGHT onto OLD IPSWICH ROAD.
In half a mile turn LEFT into WICK LANE (narrow!!!). Carry on this road past LODGE LANE on RIGHT, then past reservoir on both sides.
At CROSSROADS turn RIGHT onto DEAD LANE then carry on for third of a mile.
At T junction turn RIGHT onto COLCHESTER ROAD, past WOODEN FENDER pub on RIGHT. Then past THOROGOODS TIMBER on LEFT.
In third of mile Colchester Bowling Club on LEFT.
